Civil War Era Union Army Pattern 1826 Shoulder Belt Plate w/Leather Bayonet or Sword Shoulder Belt - Original - Excellent Condition
Up for Auction is a Civil War Era Union Army Pattern 1826 Shoulder Belt Plate with an Original Leather Bayonet or Sword Shoulder Belt.  The plate is in Excellent Conditiion, light patina color, has not been dug, has the wire loops on the back.  Look at the detail in the eagle's feathers, very little wear.  The leather bayonet or sword shoulder belt is soft and supple.  No rips or tears in the leather.  Some minor crazing at the frog end, no crack.  These shoulder belts are VERY RARE.  This is a very nice example, don't miss your chance.  See photo's for condition.
This is a nice representative example that has ages well over it's 150+ year life.
