    Original Civil War shoulder board for a Major of Staff. This was designated by the black background of the board. This one has the typical Civil War period style and measures 4 inches by 1.5 inches. Just a small amount of cloth loss on front. Stitching open on reverse. The higher ranking boards are becoming extremely difficult to locate and obtain. This one will come in the pictured riker case for display.
